Angela was raised in the beautiful state of Montana and currently resides in the
Bitterroot Valley with her husband, three children, and two dogs.
She completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in History at
Montana State University and Bachelor of Science degree in
Registered Nursing at Boise State University.
Prior to graduating Montana State University with a doctorate in psychiatric/mental health
nursing practice, she worked as an acute care psychiatric nurse for over six years within Montana's largest health care
system. Through this experience, she developed an interest in caring for individuals
with comorbid psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Angela was awarded the Land Grant Excellence Award
for her integrative review on the use of gabapentin in treatment-seeking adults with an alcohol use
disorder.
As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Angela is qualified to diagnose,
treat, and prescribe medication. She is honored to provide holistic and evidence-based care for adult
Montanans via telepsychiatry and through her private practice setting. Practice specialties include adult ADHD,
alcohol use disorder, anxiety, PTSD, depression, and bipolar disorder.
